Full Description
WW2 Battery, nr Kingsdown Scout Camp. 2 x 6 emergency Battery. No. 2 gun emplacement survives. Trench system in wood, some remains of hutted camp. Date of c1940. Made of concrete and in fair condition.
Open-topped 6pdr. gun emplacement. Looks today like a small folly, with castellations and stable doors. Lower Road below Kingsdown Club. (1)
