Full Description
Chalk mine 1.6 Km NE of Court Wood, nr Southfleet. Single entrance shaft with an irregular layout of galleries over an area of 5x6m southwards from the shaft. Pick marks seen on walls. Estimated as of C18 date. Shaft had backfilled.(1)
