Summary
A tunnel under Bull Lane links Aylesford Quarry sand pit to the quarry wharf on the River Medway. The tunnel approach on the northern side of the road is a deep cutting with concrete retaining walls. This part is probably of 20th century construction but the exact date of the tunnel's origin is unknown.

Full Description
Tunnel under Bull Lane leading from Aylesford quarry sand pit to the quarry wharf on the Medway. On the N. side of the road the tunnel approach is in a deep cutting with concrete retaining walls, presumably of C20 date. Original date of tunnel unknown.(1)
