Full Description
The brewery was formerly known as Maxton Brewery and was operated by G. Chamer in 1862. Changed name to Diamond Brewery in 1880, when J.J. Allen acquired it. The brewery changed owners a few times until 1912 when Leney & Co Ltd acquired it. The brewery ceased operating in 1916 and survived until sometime after 1936. (1) In the East Complex of the Brewery is a Malthouse, TR 3036 4082. It is a retanguler building with a small extension on the W. end of the Malthouse. (2)
