Full Description

A ring ditch cropmark feature has been identified in fields to the north west of Mount Pleasant in Minster parish. This was sighted in aerial photographs taken in 1990. It is uncertain whether this is a modern feature or the remains of more ancient monument. No further information could be found.

A double ring ditch forming part of a round barrow of Bronze Age date was visible as a cropmark in HEA 29844/50 20-APR-2016. The north-west arc of the inner concentric ring ditch was not expressed as a cropmark. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (2)
