Summary
A Brewery was formerly located at Baker's Cross, Cranbrook. The brewery was run by a number of proprietors including Newnham & Tooth in 1832. In 1845 it was acquired by W.B. Sharpe and became Sharpe & Winch in the 1890's. It was finally acquired by Leney & Sons, Phoenix Brewery, in 1928. The brewery was demolished in 1938, though the maltings is still standing
