Full Description
A single disused Kiln stood in the North east corner of a disused quarry on the North side of the road from Chiddingstone to Markbeech in 1938.(1) Although this site was only a short distance from Chiddingstine Castle. The local geology suggests it is more likely to have been a brick Kiln. The overgrown pit still survives.
