Monument record TR 04 NW 52 - Site of former quarry and lime kiln, Warren Farm, Boughton Aluph
Summary
A large chalk quarry was located in woodland to the north of Warren Farm and was formerly connected to the farm by a trackway. The chalk pit and a single lime kiln within it are marked on the 1st and 2nd edition Ordnance Survey maps of c.1861-1895. The pit is still visible although it s now largely overgrown.
