Full Description
A WW2, Type 22, PillBox, nr Hamstreet Village. Built in 1940, in concrete and still in good condition, with all the loopholes and door now bricked up.(1)

On the E side of Hamstreet Green village, in Bournewood Road, at corner of green near village shops.A type 22 pillbox. Built of concrete and still in good condition, with all the embrasures and the doorway now bricked up.
Concrete type 22 pillbox, facing E. All embrasures and door now bricked up. [Recorder, Peter Deere, gives this as a type 24].
