Full Description

A WW2 Pillbox, Type 22, with a rear porch quards entrance. It is located on the north side of the Royal Military Canal, approx 100m east of St Rumwold's Church. Built of reinforced concrete, c1940, and still in good condition.(1)

Type FW3/22 pillbox. Concrete-faced, with brick attached external blast wall. North side of Royal Military Canal, approximately 100 metres East of St Rumwold's Church, Bonnington. (3)
