Full Description
A Malt house on Limekiln Street, Dover, may have belonged to E. Rutley Jnr, in 1839.(1) By 1859 it belinged to G.S. Page and is described as having a 'capital of 16 quarter malting with good barley and malt stores. (2) after the death of Mr. page in 1874, the malt house and stores were auctioned and not re-opened. (3) The site has since been cleared. The First Edition OS map notes that this site was at that point in use as a brewery. (4)
