Summary
Earthwork remains, identifed as possible evidence of quarrying. Near Hall House are a number of steep sided irregular pits with a pond at the centre. There is also an area of coppice woodland. If the pits are the remains of a quarrying industry they most likely date to the medieval or post medieval periods.

Full Description
A series of steep sided irregular pits with a pond at the centre surrounded by mature hornbeam coppice situated east of Hall House nr Hawkhurst and west of Four Acre Wood. The pits may be the remains of quarrying, possibly for the Md or PM iron industry. (1)
