Monument record TQ 84 NE 14 - Malt house post-medieval farm, Egerton
Summary
A post-medieval farm, near Egerton, is named Malt House Farm. The site has been so called since at least the mid 19th century and it appears on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map of c.1861. Whilst it is probable that its name suggests an association with a malthouse it remains unknown if a malthouse survives at the site.
