Full Description
George Baker operated a mill on Crown Quay between 1819 and 1847, being suceeded by John Huggens who ran it until 1862. The last known operator was W. Beddington Brice who took over from Huggens in 1862.(1) By 1862 the site seems to have been part of a cement works. (TQ 96 SW 1053) (2).
