Full Description
Borstal Court works est by Edwin Hollick in 1852, taken over by Samuel Booth in 1866. Chalk pit situated on hill behind works connected by tramway. The site has now been cleared but some structures such as washbacks may surive. (1)
The Cement Works, and associated quarries, are shown on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Edition O/S maps.
