Summary
A boat building yard marked on the 3rd and 4th edition Ordnance Survey maps (c.1905-1940). Located on the Medway at Gillingham near the end of Waterside Lane. At this time the yard consisted of three buildings, one on the foreshore having a L-shaped plan and possibly being a covered slipway on the foreshore. One of the buildings may have been standing until recently.
