Full Description
A hardstanding for the beaching of boats was located during excavation at 136-138 High Street Hythe. The Hard is on the edge of a former shoreline and probably Medieval. It was probably in use from the early C13 to C14 but by the late C14 a rubbish dump sealed the area. It was excavated in May 1998 (1).
