Full Description

Excavation revealed a tie-back in the centre of the site which relates to an unseen revetment and is probably Medieval. Closer to the river was a post-medieval pine slipway with 2 north-south revetments (TQ 67 SE 1038) representing small scale inlets or jetties.(1-7)
