Monument record TR 36 NW 358 - Circular ditched enclosure, Acol
Summary
A circular enclosure has been identified in fields to the north of Kent International Business Park. The cropmark feature is reportedly c.180-200m diameter and appears as an almost perfect circle. Two photographs of the site are recorded in the Isle of Thanet Sites and Monuments Record. This has been interpreted as the remains of a possible prehistoric henge monument.

Full Description
Circular ditched enclosure, c.180-200m diameter. Probably prehistoric?. Thanet SMR has two photos taken by the farmer Mr Robertson when the field was in potatoes. Mr R says that when the site shows well it is a nearly perfect circle. Interpreted by D Perkins as a possible Henge. (1)
The 2003 and 2007 Google Earth images show a number of rectilinear features within a possible curvilinear enclosure.
