Building record TR 34 SW 535 - Dover Convict and Military Prison Skidding Sheds

Summary

Dover Convict and Military Prison Skidding Sheds located in the eastern extent of the prison. A series of buildings and associated earthen banking is visible on aerial photography taken during WWII in 1942 and 1945. The buildings remain intact as of 1962, although as of 2002 the banking has been partially levelled and the two existing building are utilised by the National Trust.
