Full Description
The lynchet is aligned along the cliff edge commencing from the Eastern boundary and curving around the top of the Coombe. The earthwork varies between 0.5-0.75m high and 1.0-1.25m wide. It has been partially damaged by subsequent military activity. The lynchet marks the boundary between arable fields and the downland of the cliff edge as shown in 1840.(1)
