Full Description
The fields to the north of Langdon Hole were covered with an extensive network of slit trenches, dugouts and fox holes probably used initially for practice manoeuvres and for the defence of the Battery and Langdon Hole itself. Several pillboxes and observation posts were also located in the vicinity. The earthworks have been ploughed out and the site is now an arable field (1)
