Hexagonal type pillbox (brick-shuttered), with 7 embrasures. [Recorder Urquhart gives NGR - TQ 526435].

Type 24 pillbox. 'Thick walled'.Standard type 24 pillbox, brick-shuttered, situated on valley floor adjacent to River Eden. Field of fire across river to SE. with PLAN drawn on form. [Recorder Farthing gives NGR - TQ 525432]. Close to the river between Penshurst road bridge and Long Bridge. (1-4)
