Full Description
A WW2 pillbox part of a nodal point, or 'anti-tank' island, formed during 1940-41 at the junction between the Newhaven-Hoo stop-line and the GHQ Line 'B' stop-line along the left bank of the Medway. (1-2)

Hexagonal concrete pillbox, brick shuttered. 7 embrasures. Standard type 24 pillbox, brick-shuttered, situated on bank of River Medway, with field of fire across river E. Near Wildboars, near footbridge over River Medway at edge of large field. (4)
