Full Description

Type 24 pillbox. 'Thick walled'.Hexagonal type pillbox (brick-shuttered), with 7 embrasures: still has grass camouflage on roof.Standard type 24 pillbox, brick-shuttered, situated along field boundary on valley floor of River Eden. Field of fire across valley to S. with PLAN drawn on form. Between Long Bridge and Penshurst bridge, in centre of field.
