Full Description
A WW2 pillbox part of a nodal point ,or 'anti-tank' island, formed during 1940-41 at the junction between the Newhaven-Hoo stop-line and the GHQ Line 'B' stop-line along the left bank of the Medway. (1-2)

Hexagonal pillbox. 7 embrasures. In field facing Alders Cottage, off road from Leigh railway station towards Ensfield Bridge. (4)
