Full Description

The present timber framed barn and oast was built between 1758 and 1840. The barn is of an interesting timber frame with unusual struts from the centre of the floor up to just below the eaves. The walls are horizontal boarded, with a modern interlocking tile roof on a half hipped construction. It consists of three bays. A the rear is a single oast kiln. The single storey wings to the barn making up the fold yard) are brick with timber panels and slate roofs.(1)
