Full Description
Two significant clusters of burnt and worked flints were located to the eastern and western edges of Area 1. A scatter of worked and burnt flints was found covering area 2 with three possible concentrations: one to the south of Stalks Wood, another to the south of Paddlesworth Cottage and the third to the north-east of Langold House. The struck flint has been assigned a broad date range within the late Neolithic or Bronze Age (1). Additional bibliography. (2)
