Full Description

Aerial photographs indicate the presence of a single ring ditch, 12m across, centred at TR 3039 5220. The feature is visible as a cropmark and the crop within the enclosure appears to be lighter than that which surrounds the feature which may indicate the presence of a plough-levelled internal mound. A sub-circular pit, 5m across, is also visible inside this enclosure which may represent the plough-levelled remains of a prehistoric ring ditch, probably a Bronze Age round barrow. This feature was previously recorded in record TR 35 SW 78.
