Full Description
Aerial photographs indicate the presence of a rectilinear, ditched enclosure at TR 3044 5217. The enclosure, which is visible as a cropmark, is asymmetric, six-sided, 63m by 43m and has at least two deliberate gaps or entrances one of which faces east, the second lies in the north-east corner of the enclosure and a small round pit is visible lying within the entrance gap. This enclosure appears to abut the northern side of a linear ditch, possibly a field boundary. A second stretch of ditch, also possibly a field boundary lies 80m to the west of the enclosure at TR 3034 5217. This feature was
previously recorded in record TR 35 SW 78.
