Full Description
An evaluation carried out in April 1999 as a condition of the construction of a new south aisle on River Parish Church found a high density of burials, all thought ot be of post-medieval date. Several of the graves were intercutting, indicating prolonged useage of teh area for burial. Two burial vaults were also inspected, revealing the presence of poorly preserved wooden coffins, lined with lead. (1)
