Monument record TQ 73 NE 21 - Hall House with suspected site of a moat, Coursehorne, Cranbrook
Summary
A supposed moat was located near the Kings Head at Coursebourne. There is a Halled house thought to date from the 15th century, with 16th wings, 18th century cladding and 20th century alterations. Thought to now be a school. No trace of a moat remains and nothing further is known. Though see TQ 73 NE 32 for description of moat found at school during CAT WB in 2000 - AJS
