Full Description
During a walkover survey of Old Park Barracks a scatter of struck flints was observed similar to others found in this area. These were concentrated towards the lower south-western edge of Old Park Wood. Most of the flints are crude, broad flakes, many with hinge fractures. such features are generally taken to be typical of later flint industries, often of Bronze Age data. Few worked artefacts were recovered.(1)
