Full Description
Copper alloy buckle (C14/15th) found during a controlled metal detector survey at Wrotham Water Farm, Wrotham Water Lane, Wrotham, Kent (13th & 14th September 2000). The item has a visica shaped frame with rounded protrusions at either end of the strap bar and angular points at the outer edge. Pin thins are also present towards the end furthest from the strap bar. The frame is broken in half, although the pin is intact and overall preservation is good. Length: 26mm. Thickness: 3mm. Width: 27mm. Weight: 6.04g. (1)
