Full Description
Copper alloy strap fitting found during a controlled metal detector survey at Wrotham Water Farm, Wrotham Water Lane, Wrotham, Kent (13th & 14th September 2000). The fitting displays a sub-circular frame, with three transverse engraved lines along the outer edge of the loop. A small square plate an hole for a pin and rivet are also present, although the origional iron rivet is corroded and no longer present. Overall preservation is good. Length: 29mm. Thickness: 3mm. Width: 22mm. Weight: 4.72g. (1)
