Full Description

Worn and corroded copper alloy coin (mid to late C1st BC) found during a controlled metal detector survey at Wrotham Water Farm, Wrotham Water Lane, Wrotham, Kent (13th & 14th September 2000). One face of the coin depicts a lion, and the other, a boar. The coin is of an early uninscribed Kentish style. Diameter: 19mm. Weight: 1.80g. (1)
