Summary
Glassenbury House is a medieval moated mansion house. The house and moat were originally constructed in c.1474. Elements of the original structure remain in the north-east corner of the present mansion which mainly dates from the 18th century. The moat remains in a good state of survival. A license to create a 1600 acre park was granted in 1488.
