Findspot record TR 34 SW 640 - Mid Bronze Age to late Iron Age pot sherds, Queen's Garden's, Dover, 2001

Summary

Multiple pottery sherds dating from the mid bronze age to the late iron age were found during a field evaluation by Canterbury Archaeological trust at a site off Queens Gardens, Dover. There were no features uncovered dating to this period and it is likely that the many of the sherds are residual and represent prehistoric occupation elsewhere, but nearby. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)
