Full Description

The remains were severely truncated during the watching brief, so much so that only the crania survived in-situ. The grave cut was orientated east to west and lay 1.20m below modern surface level. Contained within the grave were a considerable number of coffin fittings including nails, studs, and two handles, although no grave goods were found. The condition of the bones made deturmination of stature impossible, although the individual was designated as male, and between 6 and 12 years of age at time of death. (1)
