Monument record TQ 54 NE 69 - A Chest Tomb in the Graveyard of SS Peter & Paul, Tonbridge
Summary
Just east of the chancel. Single step-like plinth supporting moulded base stones of chest. Chest has end and side panels with moulded broders and ribbed corner posts. Top single slab with delicate moulded edge. Inscriptions are illegible.
Defects: In poor condition. Plinth overgrown, support to plinth is disintegrating and the chest base is moving.
