Monument record TR 23 NW 231 - Site of No 19 Beach Street, Folkestone
Summary
Site of mid 18th century timber-framed building form an extension to and abutted onto No.15-17 Beach St (TR 23 NW 230). The building had a mansard roof and dormer windows and there was a small brick chimney stack to the south side . In the Later 19th c the building was used a a commercial premise by Hernu, Peron and Stockwell Shipping Agents. It was demolished in 1987 after it was badly damaged during the Great Storm of 1987.
