Summary
A bronze palstave axe was found in close proximity to a spring at Pillary Farm, Flimwell. Little further information about the discovery could be found but a spring rising near the farm was identified as the likely findspot.

Full Description
A bronze palstave 6 3/10' x 2 4/5', found close to a spring at Pillary Farm, Flimwell (On Sussex/Kent border). (1) The present owner of Flimwell House Farm (TQ 710322) formerly Pillary Farm knew nothing of the find, but stated that the nearest spring to the farm rises at TQ 70813211. (2)
