Full Description
Watching brief undertaken at Lydden Hill in January 2002 on construction of a new trackway giving access to Army ranges at Lydden. A sparse scatter of prehistoric flints and 'pot-boilers' was noted within the thin topsoil layer along the line of the track. The light scatter of struck flints are broadly datable to the Neolithic or Bronze Age period and indicate casual prehistoric activity in the area but no other archaeological remains were revealed.
