Monument record TQ 84 NW 62 - Roman pottery and coins, Moatenden Farm, near Headcorn
Summary
During the excavation of the Moatenden Priory site, a number of abraded sherds of Romano-British pottery of the late 1st- mid 2nd century were found together wih a bronze sestertius of Sabina (AD117 - 138) suggesting the presence of Roman occupation nearby.
