Full Description
Site of the first purpose built cinema opened in Maidstone in 1911 by Mr Dunk, who opened the first cinema in Maidstone in a converted shop in Station Road in 1910. It was used briefly for live shows in the 1920,s and was renamed a number of times before closing in 1957. It was demolished shortly afterwards.(1)
