During occasional fieldwalking on the aerodrome site, prior to development, broken part of a flaked flint implement was found measuring 70mm by 56mm, by 16mm. Made of grey-brown flint.

Full Description

During occasional fieldwalking on the aerodrome site, prior to development, part of a flaked axe was found measuring 70mm by 56mm, by 16mm. Made of grey-brown flint. Most likely Mesolithic or later but may be palaeolithic(1)
