Summary
Pottery dated between the 13th and 17th centuries was found during a watching brief on work to construct a new house. No features were found but it was suspected that the new building may have lain just to the rear of the tenements fronting the town High Street.

Full Description
Watching Brief undertaken in Jan and Feb 2002 during construction of new house uncovered pottery dating between the 13th and 17th centuries. no features were encountered, however the presence of the pottery sherds suggests the footprint of the new building may lie just to the rear of the tenements fronting the High Street (1)
