Summary
An above ground airshelter was recorded prior to conversion for use as a classroom. This is an unusual structure as it was built as a shelter for the school yet is above ground. It is made of a combination of red bricks and yellow engineering bricks and is built in two ranges meeting at an 105 degree angle.

Full Description
The shelter is unusual as it was built as a school shelter and above ground. The shelter is simple in form with few concessions for comfort or aesthetics. There is minimal use of red brick, with yellow engineering bricks used where possible. The building is in two ranges meeting at 105 degree angle and are of a similar shape and size, suggesting a parallel function. Each entrance passage was fitted with two doors.(1)
