19th century to 20th century quarry. Surveyed by the MPP Stage 3 survey of the quarrying industry. Considered to be of local importance. Roman cremation burial found during quarrying in 1931 (TQ 45 NE7)(1)
A series of small linked post-Mediaeval-modern quarry areas to the west of Sundridge in Colharbour Wood, principally working the Sevenoaks Stone chert beds, which lie within the Cretaceous Hythe Beds formation.
