Full Description
A large quantity of palaeolithic and neolithic implements were found pre 1893 by D. F. Kennard on farmland in the district between Court Lodge, Wester Hill and Great Tilden. In 1932, Mrs. Kennard of Dean Street, Maidstone, presented to the Museum a collection including an Archeulean ovate, a broken hand axe, 2 BA tanged arrowheads, 6 BA barbed and tanged arrowheads, and Neolithic axe, and knives and points (all broken). The exact provenance of these finds is unknown. (1)
